Ok, I know…I need to post a non-chocolate recipe. I swear SOON I will because I need to satisfy my salty/crunchy/munchie clients. But for now, it’s all about the CHOCOLATE. Muuaaahhahaha.
Try this super simple recipe hack on your kids or on an adult who LOVES chocolate milk as much as I do.
As I look at the organic chocolate milks on the market, I may just get a cavity or type 2 diabetes simply by touching the carton. With over 22 grams of sugar per serving, I don’t care if it’s organic – it’s TOO FREAKING MUCH SUGAR to be giving our kids and ourselves! DON’T BUY IT.
Easy solution – make your own.
Three ingredients:
- 1 cup of YOUR favorite milk, i.e. Almond, Oat, Walnut, Hemp, Flax, Raw Cow’s Milk, etc.
- 1-2 Tablespoons of Organic Dark Coco Powder (I like Navitas brand)
- 1 Tablespoon Natural Sweetener such as Organic Stevia, Monk fruit, or Swerve
You can’t mess this up. Add more or less coco/sweetener to your liking. Blend, shake or stir. Make a hot coco too – hallelujah!
