Learn crucial leg and arm rotations! This Workshop focuses greatly on the position of the knees to obtain an understanding of body mechanics in dance. Time will also be spent concentrating on wrist and hand rotations to inch you closer to those beautiful, soft dancer hands. Learn a mini routine on the floor involving the pole that utilizes your new leg work and knee skillz. Isolate and rotate your way to smoother more sultry movements.
What you’ll need: An old hand towel (prop for stretching)
Socks (helps you slide in warm up exercises) Over the knee socks and leg warmers not only help you feel sexy but also help you slide in our routine Knee pads recommended for anyone with pre-existing injury or sensitivity of the knees
What to wear: There are no thigh holds or climbing in this Workshop, feel free to wear shorts or leggings. High heels are recommended. There is no heeled pointe work in this Workshop, shoeless is acceptable but high heels can help you to feel sexy and create a longer line.
