Whatever You Got – Chili in a Pot!

Cozy-up with this super-simple recipe that is healthy, tasty, and makes for great use of leftovers!

Ingredients:

1lb grass fed ground beef (local if you can)

1 cup Navy beans (I prefer to soak my own dry beans)

1 can organic diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup Organic Celery sliced

1 medium Organic Onion diced 1 Organic Bell Pepper diced

2 handfuls Organic Spinach

1 ½ to 2 cups Beef Bone Broth (I prefer homemade)

2 ½ T Chili powder

2T Cumin

1tsp Paprika

1tsp Italian Seasoning

Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Brown beef in bottom of pan. Slice the celery and dice the onion and pepper. Place celery, onion and pepper in pan with beef and cook till soft. Add beans to beef mixture. Then add canned tomatoes and bone broth. Stir, add in spices and let simmer. Just before serving throw the spinach on top, let wilt and gently stir it in. Season with salt and pepper

Feel like adding your own twist:  Any vegetable or bean will work. Not a beef eater? Use any ground meat or non-GMO vegan options of your choice.
